Awesome! Let me introduce myself, my name is Marie Williams, I’m a textile artist based in Northland New Zealand.
I predominately use locally sourced plants, especially leaves, roots and flowers from my garden to ‘eco-print’ or contact print natural textiles and papers, creating unique and natural works of art. It’s become a wonderful way of using all my garden prunings, autumn leaf fall, seed heads and when plants need dividing I can even use their roots! The good thing is that I now have a super duper reason to buy more plants and make the garden even bigger :-0
Everything sold here is a one-off eco-printed work of art. Each product is hand made with a technique that can sometimes produce random spots and marks. Please note that these marks are part of the original printing process and are not considered flaws. Just think of them as adding to the unique appearance of your garment. We call them happy accidents!
Actual colours may vary slightly from what you see on this website due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colours and that everyone sees these colours in a different way. So we cannot guarantee that the colour you see onscreen accurately portrays the true colour, but we have tried to make it as close as possible.
